Can Noibat Be Shiny In Pokémon GO? – Noibat Community Day

February looks to be another eventful month in Pokémon GO. In particular, Trainers can look forward to the next GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas event and a new batch of exciting content. That said, Trainers can expect new events, more ferocious Raid Bosses, and plenty of Research tasks to complete.

One of the spotlight events that Trainers can look forward to is the next Community Day event, as the Sound Wave Pokémon, Noibat, will be featured. But the burning question among players is: Can you encounter a Shiny Noibat? This guide explores if there will be a Shiny Noibat in Pokémon GO.

Is There A Shiny Noibat In Pokémon GO?

The next Community Day event will see the Flying/Dragon-type Pokémon, Noibat, appearing more frequently in the wild and in Raid encounters. Luckily for Trainers, there is an increased chance you could encounter a Shiny Noibat for the event’s duration.

Noibat and Shiny Noibat will be featured in February’s Community Day event, which occurs on 5th February 2023, and it will be active for three hours between 2 pm and 5 pm local time. During its active hours, you can participate in multiple event activities, in which you can also encounter Noibat and its Shiny form.

As mentioned before, Noibat is spawning more frequently in the wild with the chance of encountering its Shiny form. Additionally, a bonus Raid Battle will occur following the event, in which Noibat will be a four-star Raid Boss, with a chance of a Shiny Noibat to battle against.

To join this bonus Raid Battle, you can utilize a Raid Pass or a Premium Battle Pass, for which securing a victory will see Noibat spawning nearby Gyms which held the Raid for a half hour. Unfortunately, you cannot use a Remote Raid Pass to participate in this bonus Raid, for which this Raid Battle will be active between 5 pm and 10 pm local time.

Additionally, you can receive Noibat or Shiny Noibat as a reward when completing the event’s Field Research. Likewise, an event-exclusive paid Special Research story, Abundant Noise, will be made available as there may be a possibility you could earn a Noibat encounter or Noibat Candy.

Lastly, should you evolve Noibat to Noivern during and five hours following the event, it will know its Charged Attack, Boomburst, which has a 140 Power stat for Trainer battles and 150 Power stat for Gyms and Raids. Catching this Pokémon will task you to utilize Poké Balls and Lure Modules and Incense to attract it to your location.

Don’t forget to bring enough Berries to aid you in successfully catching Noibat and increase the quantity of Candy earned. Razz Berries will boost your chances of catching it, Nanab Berries will slow down its movement, and Pinap Berries to double your Candy received once Noibat is caught.
