Phasmophobia is receiving its newest update in just a couple of days, bringing with it a whole new patch and new content in what the developers are calling their 'biggest update yet'.
What time does the Phasmophobia Ascension Update release?
Phasmophobia Ascension is currently scheduled to launch on Thursday 17, August at 10 AM UTC. Across the world, that's:
- 11:00 AM BST
- 06:00 AM EST
- 03:00 AM PST
Will the Phasmophobia Ascension update launch on consoles?
Sort of. Phasmophobia Ascension won't be launching on consoles this Thursday, but it WILL come to consoles when the game actually releases on consoles. The game was announced during Summer Game Fest to be coming to consoles at some point in August, so there's a two-week window left in which the game could launch unless they decide to push it back.
What will Phasmophobia Ascension add to the game?
Phasmophobia Ascension is set to add a lot of new content to the game, with new video cameras confirmed as being added to the game in a recent development update. You'll now be able to customize your ID cards properly to change your prestige badge and make them look exactly what you want them to look like.
In addition to these, there are also changes to the Parabolic Microphone to make it more useful and a complete change to how progression works so that you earn money alongside earning XP in equal amounts. The developers have also changed exactly how money and experience are dished out, making it easier to get enough money to get new equipment.
Finally, leveling has changed. Once you reach level 100 you can either choose to keep leveling past level 100, or you can reset your money, level, and equipment in exchange for a new loadout slot, badge, and patch for your character.
