How To Complete The Bad News Friendship Quest In Palia?
The Bad News quest is Kenli's Friendship level 3 quest, which is unlocked by meeting its prerequisites, and players can immediately speak to him at the City Hall or Ormuu's Horn Inn, depending on the time of the day. Kenli shares heartbreaking news that due to the Duchess raising taxes on the Daiya family, she wants Kenli to evict them if they can't pay them.
As such, Kenli asks players to deliver the "bad news" to Delaila, who can be found at Zeki's General Store, Ormmu's Horn Inn, or the family farm. However, her response was entirely unexpected as she explained that they could not do this due to a contract her grandfather signed "with their grandfather forbidding it."
Delaila asks them to find the official documentation, in the form of a title deed to their land, which is somewhere in the Records Room in City Hall. They must return to Kenli informing him of this information, and he hands them a key to his Records Room, which, once found, they are to return to Delaila to issue a formal apology on Kenli's behalf.
They'll learn from Delaila that Kenli has apologized in person and had invited her and Badruu to dinner at the estate, which concludes this friendship quest. Upon the quest's completion, they will receive 25 Renown, 600 Gold, and have their Friendship improved with Kenli.
