Palia Tool Skins (September 2024): New Bundle Offers, How To Get And More

A new premium cosmetic item called Tool Skins arrived in Palia's 0.180 update, and we have the scoop on how to get them in-game.

Palia's Premium Store is an in-game virtual storefront that offers unique items that don't have any impact or bearing on overall gameplay progression. Instead, players can obtain cosmetic items that can be purchased using a specific currency, Palia Coins, for which Tool Skins are one of the premium offerings they can find.

Tool Skins was announced by developer Singularity 6 recently and will be available at the Premium Store in the upcoming 0.180 patch update. This guide provides some general information revealed by the developer on Tool Skins, how to get them, and their pricing in Palia.

Latest Palia Tool Skins News & Updates:

25th September 2024 Update: v0.184 New Premium Tool Skins

The v0.184 patch update added a new Tool Skin set that is available to purchase from the Premium Store in-game. Let's look at the Tool Skins, which are as follows:

  • The Ancient Champion Tool Skin Set:
    • 850 Palia Coins for the entire set
    • Includes skins for two tools: an Axe (changed into a massive sword) and Bow

Note: From 8th October 2024, one additional bundle will be added to the Premium Store, which includes the following:

  • The Jaak-O-Lantern Tool Skin Set:
    • 425 Palia Coins for the entire set
    • Includes skins for six tools: an Axe, Bow, Fishing Rod, Gardening Hoe, Pick, and Watering Can
28th August 2024 Update: v0.183 New Premium Tool Skins

The v0.183 patch update added two new Tool Skin sets that are available to purchase from the Premium Store in-game. Let's look at the Tool Skins, which are as follows:

  • The Ash Tool Skin Set: 
    • 425 Palia Coins for the entire set
    • Includes skins for two tools: a Fishing Rod and Pick
  • The Fierce Fatale Tool Skin Set: 
  • 850 Palia Coins for the entire set
  • Includes skins for six tools: an Axe, Bow, Fishing Rod, Gardening Hoe, Pick, and Watering Can

Note: From 10th September 2024, one additional bundle will be added to the Premium Store, which includes the following:

  • The Froggy Tool Skin
    • 850 Palia Coins for the entire set
    • Includes skins for two tools: an Axe and a Gardening Hoe

How To Get The Tool Skins In Palia?

Developer Singularity 6 detailed in their latest Developer Update blog post the new content, balance changes, and optimizations arriving in Palia in the 0.180 patch update. While the release date for this update has yet to be announced, as revealed in the aforementioned post, new items will soon be coming to the Premium Store.

The 0.180 patch update will introduce a new type of cosmetics, Tool Skins, that will be available to players in-game. According to the developer, these cosmetic items will add "a bit of glam to your tools," but so far, it's confirmed for the Axe, but other tools have yet to be verified.

Tool Skins are likely to function similarly to notable cosmetics like Outfits, but it's yet to be confirmed how players can equip these skins to their tools, whether from the Worktable or other workstations. What is confirmed is how they can acquire Tool Skins, which can be purchased from the Premium Store and accessed in-game.

To access the Premium Store, they can locate the cash register at Jel's Tailor Shop in the village square of Kilima Village or click on the golden Shop icon at the top right of the screen when interacting with the Wardrobe or from the Character Profile menu. Once they've entered the Premium Store, they will be able to find the Tool Skins, which will be added in the 0.180 patch update, and can purchase them.

Getting Tool Skins will cost Palia Coins, which can be bought within the Premium Store by accessing the Currency Store by clicking on the Coin icon. The pricing for Tool Skins has yet to be revealed as of this writing, but we know that three Tool Skins, Empyreal, Leafy Weave, and Spring Sakura, are launching in the 0.180 patch update.

Once acquired, they can equip the Tool Skins to their tools before using them to harvest, mine, and collect resources when using their active skills in-game. As mentioned before, we can't confirm the pricing for the Tool Skins, how they can be equipped, and whether they can be applied to all tools or specific ones when they launch in Palia's 0.180 patch update.
