Palia Stargazer Friendship Quest And Walkthrough

As a pivotal spiritual leader and one of the pillars of the Palian community, Chayne often guides Villagers and is open to teaching about the Majiri religion. While this experience has proven to be enlightening, he may call upon players for help, including in his Friendship quest, Stargazer.

With the Villagers celebrating the Luna New Year at the Maji Market, Chayne has a more confusing situation to understand after recent readings of the moon. Look to the skies and the Phoenix for answers, as explained in this guide for Chayne's Stargazer Friendship quest in Palia.

Palia Stargazer Friendship Quest Objectives List

Chayne appears to be distracted as he hasn't been fulfilling his duties due to a recent discovery he made while observing the moon. As such, a visit from Delaila prompts players to find out what Chayne had been occupied with in his Friendship quest, Stargazer.

This comes after assisting Chayne to repair the telescope in his previous Friendship quest, as a recent sighting has left him more befuddled. Discover what Chayne's recent discovery is and help him decode the messages by following the quest objectives outlined below:

How To Complete The Stargazer Friendship Quest In Palia?

After helping Chayne out by gathering materials to repair his telescope, with assistance from Najuma, it's time to check in with him on the progress of his telescope. Once players have reached Friendship level 3 with Chayne, Delaila will appear on their Housing Plot asking if they have Spice Sprouts to spare as Auni is feeling ill and Chayne has yet to make a "house call."

They'll receive the Stargazer Friendship quest, and players can head out for a visit to see if everything's right with him. When speaking to him, he explains that he got distracted while attempting to read the moon (or lunar) signals he discovered but is having trouble interpreting them.

Unable to better understand the flashes he saw on the moon through the telescope, players must find a Villager who understands human religion, which they can confer with Jina. After explaining Chayne's situation to her, she thinks the flashes are volcanic eruptions but is unable to determine if they have any religious interpretations, which, if they do, the answers are where they first met at the Phoenix Shrine.

Players are to find Moon Tablets en route to the Phoenix Shrine at Phoenix Falls and can be found to the right when entering the area near some pottery. They can bring the tablets to Chayne, explaining that it was found at the Phoenix Shrine, which he can use to interpret the signals, and as thanks, they'll receive 25 Renown, four Dari Cloves, his room key, and improving their Friendship with him as quest rewards.

Palia is currently available via the Epic Games Store and in Open Beta for PC, as players can install the game launcher detailed in this guide. The game is now available to download for Nintendo Switch as of 14th December 2023.
