How To Complete The Music To My Ears Friendship Quest In Palia?
Music to My Ears is Badruu's Friendship quest, which players can unlock once reaching Friendship level 3 and which they must find in Kilima Village before speaking to him. Badruu explains that he's working on a song he wrote after they had gifted him a new lute; however, he's unsure if it's ready and asks to meet him at his barn.
Players will receive the key to his barn, and after chatting to him once again, he reveals that the song he wrote is for Delaila for their 25th anniversary. As he needs help finishing the lyrics, they must complete them by choosing a theme from the dialogue options.
Suggesting that he should play the song to Delaila; they'll have to wait for Badruu's response before getting approached by Auni explaining that he wants to help out his dad. Believing that his dad lacks confidence, Auni sends them on a trip to gather items to craft a Confidence Charm, which they'll need: a Firebreathing Dragonfly, Flow-infused Planks, and Silk Threads before bringing them to Auni.
The Firebreathing Dragonfly can be caught at Mirror Pond Ruins, Mirror Fields, and surrounding the Daiya Family Farm during the daytime, while Silk Threads are dropped from Rare and Epic bugs, including the Firebreathing Dragonfly. Lastly, the Flow-infused Planks can be processed from Flow-infused Logs, which are foraged from chopping down Flow Tress in Kilima Village or the Flow Groves in Bahari Bay.
Once the Confidence Charm has been crafted, they can hand over the item to Badruu and learn that Auni had helped before the quest ends. Receiving 25 Renown, five Blueberry Bush Seeds, and improving their Friendship with Badruu upon its completion, Auni will forward them a letter post-quest explaining that the charm had worked and gifting players a Star-Quality Raspberry Bettle as a bonus reward.
