Nightingale is an online game, regardless of whether you're playing solo or with friends. Because of that, it means that all players will be relying on the game's servers to be up and operational. But there will always be a time when maintenance is needed, usually to fix bugs, updates, or other problems.
Server maintenance can be scheduled for any time, but the developers at Inflexion Games are keen to keep things transparent for Nightingale players. As such, they typically notify players via a Steam post when maintenance is scheduled to occur. So how long does server maintenance tend to last in Nightingale?
When Will Servers Be Back Up For Nightingale?
The short answer is that typical server maintenance and hotfixes can take between 30 minutes to an hour in Nightingale. Inflexion Games revealed this duration in a blog post regarding a recent hotfix on February 21, 2024.
The longer answer is that it often depends on the work needed. Players should expect longer maintenance and larger updates to take upwards of an hour, meaning that servers could be down for an extended period of time. For individual cases, it's best to check any official notifications for a full estimate.
Planned server maintenance means that players will be unable to log into their realms and play Nightingale for the duration of the downtime. Of course, there are other elemetns that might make Nightingale unplayable for a small period of time, such as crashes. Nightingale is available to play on PC via Steam and The Epic Games Store. The game launched in early acess on February 20, 2024.
