In Nightingale, there are a number of ways to get the most out of your weapons and tools. For starters, you'll want to begin upgrading your Crude and Simple equipment as soon as you can. This grants you access to more dangerous and rewarding areas of the Fae Realms, while increasing your chances of survival.
But there are ways to push things further, using Infusions. These can be added to a weapon or tool to give it some added effects, such as increased Durability. But to use Infusions, you'll first need to craft them.
How To Craft & Use Infusions In Nightingale
Infusions can be crafted at an Enchanter's Focus, which you'll also use to create Realm Cards and Enchantments. In order to create an Infusion, you'll first need the recipe, which can be bought at an Essence Trader. Of course, you'll need to locate the Essence Trader in the Realm you're currently in.
Once you've obtained a recipe, head back to the Enchanter's Focus to craft it. Requirements for each Infusion might vary, but they will require a tiered Essence. For example, the Constancy Infusion (Durability) requires 25 Essence of at least T1 grade.
You can also find Infusions as you explore the worlds, occasionally in loot chests. These can also be applied to equipment of the same tier.
To apply an Infusion, select the Infusion you wish to use from your Inventory. Right-click and select "Apply." You can then select the appropriate piece of equipment to apply it to. Select the item and click "Apply Infusion"
And that's it. Crafting and using Infusions is incredibly simple once you've got the right tools.
