While exploring Brightoak, players will find the local inn, tavern, blacksmith, and market square, which are central to trading in the Blue Meadows region. As they browse the sights to be seen in the market square, they can pick up a few quests: Water Under the Bridge and The Bandit Blockades.

The latter is a plea for help from another neighboring village, Crossroads, in the Lonely Pines region, where some bandits have been preventing the villagers from trading by stealing their goods. This quest is given to players in the form of a note that requests emergency assistance as an NPC needs help dealing with bandits who've ceased their goods. How To Complete The Bandit Blockades Quest In Mirthwood?

Once players have read the note left at the table inside the tent at the market area in Brightoak, they can check their map to find the marked location where they must clear the blockades. The location is east of Brightoak in Lonely Pines, deep within the Murkwater Marsh, where they must find a village of Crossroads.

The most optimal route to find the village is from Brightoak, heading east through The Old Forest until they find the cave system by the crossroad and head south. Tread carefully as there are boars in the vicinity, and we advise players to acquire their swords and bow from the Hammer Time quest to deal ranged damage to enemies and creatures they may encounter.

Through this route, they'll find their first blockade en route to Crossroads, in which the objective is to find three blockades surrounding the village and defeat a few bandits. The first set of blockades is found near the Oasis Pond with two bandits guarding it; if they lure them into the village, the villagers again take up arms and help players defeat them.

Continue heading south to discover the village of Crossroads, where they can head west of the village where the next set of blockades are found with two more bandits to defeat by luring them into the village. The final blockade is south of the village, and when exiting its gates with one bandit and a stronger enemy, the Wanderer and a boar can also be found within this area.

Deal with the weaker enemy first before turning their attention to the larger enemy, which they can fire an arrow at the exploding barrel here to weaken it and get a few shots in to defeat it. With all the bandits defeated and the blockades cleared, this completes The Bandit Blockades quest in Mirthwood.
