Marvel Snap is in its second week of its "What If...?" season, which welcomes yet another new card for Snappers to add to their Collections. The Reshaper of Worlds Kahhori joins the popular card battler which avid Marvel fans will know that this hero is a brand new character to join the pantheon of heroes, more specifically, Multiversal heroes like Captain Carter.
However, many are hesitant to acquire the brand new card, given that developer, Second Dinner confirmed the launch of Snap Packs for 29th April 2025 in the game's next patch update. Nevertheless, we'll unpack everything we know about Kahhori, including explaining her card ability, highlighting key synergies and top counters, and featuring three equally fascinating decks spotlighting Kahhori in Marvel Snap.
Marvel Snap Kahhori Card Abilities Explained
The Reshaper of Worlds, Kahhori, made her Marvel debut in Marvel Animation's "What If..?" Season 2 as a young Mohawk woman who embarks on a dangerous quest to learn of her truly powerful abilities that can help reshape the lives of her people and on a larger scale, the entire world and universe. The character's creation is a collaboration between Marvel, the Mohawk Nation, and its historians, who saw Kahhori gain her first ongoing comic series and a video game debut for MARVEL Strike Force, and now she's coming to Marvel Snap this month.
Kahhori launches as a Series 5 card with the confirmed stat line of four Cost and six Power and a unique On Reveal ability, which makes her synergistic with Grandmaster, Absorbing Man, and Odin. When played, her On Reveal ability allows Kahhori to give every card in play +1 Power based on how many cards Snappers have in their hand.
Based on her card ability's description, Kahhori synergizes well with card generation cards like Agent 13, Maria Hill, Mirage, Kate Bishop, Agent Coulson, and Nick Fury, as well as The Collector, Victoria Hand, Devil Dinosaur, Eson, and, of course, Arishem. On the other hand, Goose, Cosmo, and the Knowhere location can easily counter Kahhori, likewise for Shadow King, while Shang Chi can target ten Powered cards, and Ronan the Accuser gains power for cards in their opponent's hand.
As for card acquisition, as mentioned before in our Goliath guide, Second Dinner has confirmed the upcoming launch of Snap Packs, which looks to make card acquisition much easier for all Snappers, as Kahhori will be included in the Series 5 Snap Packs when it debuts. For now, she can be obtained when Snappers spend 6,000 Collector's Tokens at the Token Shop or use their Spotlight Keys and acquire the base card from the Spotlight Caches system.
Best Marvel Snap Kahhori Decks: Wiccan Hand-Gen
Kahhori's release may assist in revitalizing a specific archetype that will be spotlighted in our first deck showcase, which focuses on card generation. On paper, Kahhori might be the catalyst needed to make this archetype feel more competitive, especially when paired with her best synergistic cards; however, she can be easily countered by the likes of Shadow King, Cosmo, and Ronan the Accuser.
The key objective is to generate as many cards as your hand can handle (and that are hopefully playable) in this hand-generation deck from Marvel Snap content creator Alexander Coccia. This deck also features a Wiccan shell, meaning Snappers will want to play on curve and out the gate; Quicksilver is included to ensure they have a card in hand to play on Turn 1.
Depending on which two-Cost cards are already in their hand, ideally, Iron Patriot, Peni Parker, or Sentinel are the best picks, following it up with either Agent Coulson, White Queen, or the SP//dr token card to move any played cards to another location. Turn 4 can see Wiccan being played to gain the additional Energy, which Luna Snow, Nick Fury, and Kahhori can follow suit before ending with Eson and Victoria Hand to avoid potential counters with Eson playing a card directly from the hand to end the game.
Best Marvel Snap Kahhori Decks: Savagely Galacta
There are various cards in-game that synergize with Kahhori outside of the hand-generation archetype, which will be the spotlight of our next deck showcase. Given that Kahhori is a four-Cost card, immediately, Zabu is yet another great card to run to reduce her card cost by one; Snappers can take advantage of other notable four-Cost cards like Galacta that too give extra Power, which can only mean that Sebastian Shaw comes out to play once more.
As such, we'll turn our attention from hand-generation to cards that generate clones or copies of themselves to easily gain location priority in this splitting deck from Marvel Snap content creator ReZ Snapper. The cards in particular that possess this ability include Mister Sinister, Brood, and Scarlet Spider, which on Turn 1, if Zabu enters their hand, it must be played to discount Galacta, Scarlet Spider, Gwenpool, and Kahhori, which alternatively America Chavez can be played on curve.
The following turns could see Peni Parker played on the board to guarantee the extra +1 Energy to get Galacta early on Turn 3, but if not possible, Lasher and Phastos on curve before playing Mister Sinister, Brood, and Scarlet Spider. The remaining turns could find Snappers getting Gwenpool, Kahhori, and Sebastian Shaw before activating Lasher and Scarlet Spider to fill all locations and hoping Shadow King doesn't get played to secure priority and a win for the books!
Best Marvel Snap Kahhori Decks: Kahhori Reshapes On Reveal
Our final spotlighted deck is less on the card generation archetype and, like with the previous deck, buffing cards on the board with other great synergies for Kahhori. Due to Kahhori being an On Reveal card, it means that Wong can join the fray, but to best safeguard him and On Reveal cards from being sniped, Echo will be the tech card selected; however, it does leave him open to Rogue, Red Guardian, and Enchantress.
Marvel Snap content creator dddrewsky provides this final spotlighted deck, focusing on building the middle location for Wong with Nightcrawler and Jeff the Baby Land Shark played in adjacent locations. Echo can be played on Turn 3 to avoid Killmonger, which, on the following turn, Wong enters the game, and Namora on Turn 5, allowing Snappers to move Nightcrawler or Jeff the Baby Land Shark at either adjacent location.
Alternatively, they can play Kahhori on Turn 4 if Wong and Namora have yet to enter their hand and Black Panther or White Tiger on Turn 5 before moving Nightcrawler or Jeff the Baby Land Shark. If Black Panther is in play, the final turn could see Arnim Zola played at its location, or if they're following the Wong/Namora playline, then Odin can be played at their location to further add Power to Nightcrawler and Jeff the Baby Land Shark.
