While many of these changes are fantastic and highlight the developers' ongoing efforts to improve the game—whether it’s tweaking the UI or fixing loading errors—one change stands out: the Bleed fix. For those unfamiliar, since the 2.3 update, a bug has emerged where, when players are bleeding, pressing the "stop bleeding" button had a delay before it would halt the bleeding and prevent further health loss.
As you can imagine, this issue can be particularly problematic during intense gunfights when you might need to quickly stop the bleeding or take down an enemy before doing so. This delay can result in losing a health bar when you thought you had enough time to stop the bleeding, or even dying if you try to stop it just before your health runs out.
Reddit users have also noted this issue, with players like u/Psychological-Fix806 starting a thread titled "Can't Stop the Bleed Bug," which directly addresses the problem. As many comments in the thread have pointed out, “It’s definitely a thing since the last update, and lots of folks have been complaining about it.”
That said, the fact that Crytek is addressing this issue so quickly in the 2.3.0.1 patch is a promising sign. The developers seem to be responding faster to community reports of bugs, which is something Hunt: Showdown 1896 players have long hoped for.
Of course, the fix might have already been in the works, but the quick turnaround after the issue was raised is a good sign. Hopefully, this approach will become more common in the future as players and supporters of Hunt: Showdown 1896.
