Cyclops is a three-cost four-power card in Marvel Snap with no ability. It is strange to think that the developers at Second Dinner decided not to give one of the most popular X-Men, nay, one of the most popular Marvel characters of all time, any kind of ability. Well, as Brode has stated many times before in certain interviews, he is constantly being hounded by fans who believe Cyclops deserves to have some kind of ability. However, there are certainly decks out there that not only use Cyclops in its current form but take advantage of the fact that the card has no text.
So, if you are ready to start using Cyclops in Marvel Snap, you've come to the right place. This article will cover the best Cyclops decks in Marvel Snap, including deck lists, strategies, and more!

Best Cyclops Decks In Marvel Snap
The best Cyclops decks in Marvel Snap are decks that are able to take advantage of cards with no abilities. Cyclops doesn't really have a spot in the metagame outside of these kinds of decks. While other textless cards see niche inclusions in a few decks here and there, Cyclops is pretty much relegated to only two kinds of decks. However, in these decks, the card truly excels.
Patriot Deck
Patriot decks have been around for as long as time itself, it feels like, and the deck is still surprisingly relevant. Cyclops has a decent stat line, providing four power for only three Energy, making it a solid pick on turn three for turns when Patriot has yet to be drawn. That's pretty much Cyclops' main role in this deck. To be a mid-game stat stick. And it does its job very well!
Patriot Deck List:
- Wasp
- Squirrel Girl
- Misty Knight
- Shocker
- Mystique
- Patriot
- Cosmo
- Debrii
- Cyclops
- Super Skrull
- Blue Marvel
- Abomination
High Evolutionary Deck
High Evolutionary is a card that "unlocks" the hidden abilities for all cards in the game without any text. Cyclops has the following ability if High Evolutionary starts in your deck:
"When you end a turn with unspent Energy, afflict 2 random enemies here with -1 Power."
Naturally, this means Cyclops works well in decks that want to float Energy or decks that want to inflict their opponent with negative power. There are several decks in Marvel Snap that already do both of these strategies, but because Cyclops' additional effect is so powerful, it is recommended to use the card in a debuff deck!
High Evolutionary Deck List:
- Wasp
- Sunspot
- Hazmat
- Luke Cage
- Zabu
- Cyclops
- Absorbing Man
- High Evolutionary
- Super Skrull
- The Thing
- Abomination
- Hulk
