After TSM was unable to make the World Championships for its second consecutive year, TSM is likely looking forward to a fresh start with the 2020 League of Legends season and Kobbe will undoubtedly provide immediate assistance as the team looks to complete its bottom lane.
Kobbe spoke of his excitement for the new opportunity with TSM via Twitter and said he can’t wait to get started on doing “great things with the roster in the upcoming years.” Kobbe’s move to TSM will mark the first time in his professional career he will be playing in the North American region.
Very excited for this opportunity and to start a new adventure! I believe we can do great things with this roster in the upcoming years and I just cant wait to get started. TSM! https://t.co/skKGIgER8q

Kobbe has two World Championship appearances under his belt and has recently played for Denial Esports, Millenium, Team Dignitas’ European roster, and Follow Esports before signing with Splyce in 2015. Kobbe helped them reach the World Championship this past year after defeating FC Schalke 04 in the LEC’s regional qualifier.
With the team’s new signing, Team SoloMid has moved one step closer to completing its full LCS roster for 2020 after spending its offseason trying to rebuild its lineup. TSM has yet to fill the jungler position after recent shakeups at the position.
Though the team hasn’t found as much success it would have liked from players Jonathan “Grig” Armao, Matthew “Akaadian” Higginbotham, and Mingyi “Spica” Lu, his new team hopes Kobbe can help change the TSM culture.
TSM has also picked up jungle Joshua “Dardoch” Hartnett earlier last week, brought back Vincent “Biofrost” Wang from CLG, and will retain top laner Sergen “Broken Blade” Çelik and veteran mid laner Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg for the upcoming season.
