As is tradition, Mark “Scruffy” Yetter, the Gameplay Design Lead for League of Legends, has revealed the meta changes coming to League of Legends' in patch 11.8.
This time around, the adjustments will be aimed at jungle champions, in addition to balancing the power of certain champions who lost their mainline focus and new changes within the game's visuals.
League of Legends 11.8 pre-patch notes
Champion changes

Unexpectedly, five champions will receive a strong skill adjustment, allowing the pool of profitable jungle champions to increase dramatically by giving them a better scaling and stronger gank potential, these being Darius, Diana, Mordekaiser, Morgana, and Zed.
Continuing with the adjustments, a couple of champions who had their course around the Rift due to their use in other lanes will receive changes that will make them less feasible options to change their role, with Dr Mundo and Rumble receiving changes that will benefit their role in the top lane.

Several champions of the mid lane and the jungle will receive buff this patch after their recent poor performance, in addition to Aphelios who will also receive several improvements after his low win rate percentage and his last modification made during the preseason.
To close this section, Annie, Gnar, Orianna, Thresh, and Yorick will receive nerfs due to their enormous explosive potential that has been reflected even in the competitive, with Yorick being one of the main affected despite having received a buff during patch 11.7 less than a week ago.
Item changes

As for the items, Scruffy showed some adjustments to the main items of the supports, some of them already present in the PBE and that have shown drastic changes in the passives and statistics on all of them.
The Hextech Rocketbelt will receive a stat change with a bit of a flat magic penetration, but taking 100 HP off its bonus health. Useful items for top lane champions such as the Frozen Heart and Titanic Hydra are also in the balance team's crosshairs.
Visual updates
Finally, the biggest changes that will arrive in this patch have begun to be shown, these being the minor visual adjustments to ARAM mode and the Rammus’ mini rework that will also arrive in Wild Rift.
Among the changes for Rammus, all his basic abilities will receive adjustments to their statistics, however the main change will come from the side of his Ultimate since the Armordillo will have a new one called Soaring Slam, which will literally turn him into a cannonball.
All of Rammus's abilities along with his skins will receive visual and particle updates to match his renewed set.
Thus ends this preview of patch 11.8 of League of Legends, without forgetting to mention the new skins that will arrive with this update and that will take you to other more warlike worlds, and the debut of Gwen, the Hallowed Seamstress.
Good luck with your games, and see you at Summoner's Rift!
