Riot Games has revealed all the changes coming to League of Legends with patch 11.20, expected to hit the live servers on 6th October.
While the last two patches were mostly focused on building the metagame for Worlds 2021, this next update will serve to balance some of the best champion and item picks in ranked queues, as the current season is now entering its last stretch.
Patch 11.20: All balance changes
Patch 11.20 will be a quite smaller patch if compared to the massive changes added during the last month, and as Riot Phlox, designer on the Summoner’s Rift team for League, revealed through Twitter, they will be taking a look at the top tier champs before the season ends.
That said, the biggest nerfs will come for Amumu and Singed, who will see their Bandage Toss and Fling damage reduced at all but its first level, while the Bandage Toss’ mana cost will now be fixed and increased, making it hard for the Sad Mummy to spam it all the time.
Some of the other champions being of the sight are Jarvan IV, with a nerf in his passive damage increase, Irelia’s passive AD ratio is getting decreased as well as Shen’s passive shield, and lastly, Taliyah’s damage to subsequent damage to monsters will be reduced.
As for the champion buffs, Darius and Hecarim W’s cooldown will be reduced and fixed at all tiers, with the latter’s non-champ heal cap being buffed as well. Elise base health and AR per level will be drastically increased, and Udyr R’s cone damage is getting powered up.
Last but not least, the initial hit damage of the Imperial Mandate will be increased at all champion levels, and for the junglers, the Smite max healing will be decreased from 15% to 10%, but the Krug and Gromp base AD will be reduced from 78 to 74.
Patch 11.20: New Bewitching skins
Besides everything above, the biggest additions in patch 11.20 will come with the new Bewitching skins, featuring six spooky styles for some of League’s most-played female champions, including a fiery Prestige skin for Morgana.
You can take a look at their VFX and custom fashion in the next vid, courtesy of Cherise and Riot Games.
This set of skins will be available in the in-game store for 1,350 RP, with chromas also available for 450 RP each. Meanwhile, Morgana's can be exchanged for 100 Prestige Points in the Loot section.
