The 2021 League of Legends World Championship has come to an end, and with this, a new world champion has been crowned with the victory of Edward Gaming over DWG KIA, at the grand finals held in Iceland.
Now, the eyes of all League’s players will turn their attention for later today, as this Worlds’ Super Weekend will close with a flourish with the global premiere of the new animated series, Arcane, through Netflix and Tencent Video (in China only).
Either you are preparing for the premiere, or you just want to make sure about your options to see it, here we bring you a viewer's guide to enjoy the first episodes of Arcane to the fullest.
How to watch Arcane’s premiere + schedule
Official co-streams by Riot and Twitch
First of all, the best option to watch Arcane this weekend will be via Arcane.com or through the official co-streams on Twitch, where content creators will have the chance to share their reactions to the first episode.
This will be accompanied with a ton of Twitch Drops viewers will be able to get through the different broadcasts, bringing rewards for all of Riot’s titles including League of Legends, Wild Rift, Legends of Runeterra, Teamfight Tactics, and even Valorant.
These co-streams are scheduled to begin at 7 pm PT, and on 8th November at 2 am PT.
In-person premieres around the world
Additionally, several regions will also feature an in-person event to watch the premiere, with the biggest one being held at Riot’s headquarters in Los Angeles.
Here, streamers and community members from around the world will have the chance to share with viewers and fans, prior to the beginning of the global broadcast, while Riot’s will also give official merch to all attendees.
Arcane’s Global Premiere is slated to begin at 5:30 pm PT, with other related events from other regions starting around that same hour.
As always, if you will go to any of these events, make sure to follow all social distancing and health measures, since the pandemic is still ongoing.
Through Netflix and Tencent Video
Since the official co-streams will only feature the first episode, the next one will be watching it from your home through its licensed streaming platforms, Netflix and Tencent Video.
That said, we must take into account that Arcane will be divided into three acts, with three episodes each to make a total of nine episodes. Their release dates are as follows:
- Act 1: 6th November, 7 pm PT
- Act 2: 13th November
- Act 3: 20th November
Of course, you won’t receive any drops or rewards, but you will get to know the entirety of Arcane’s story first hand, so don’t miss this chance.
And that’s all, this is everything you need to know for Arcane’s premiere, so go grab your popcorn and favourite drink, and enjoy!
