We felt a strong voice was needed to lead our team on the Rift and found in Crownshot a good match. He will start in the AD carry position on Friday. #VITWIN pic.twitter.com/sT9szosVZ4
Slovenians’ career took a wild turn after he failed to find a place in the team competing in the LEC. SK Gaming decided to field mostly rookie roster, which consists of Jean “Jezu” Massol, who replaced Crownshot as a starting bot laner. Shortly after Marušič found a new home in a form of Gen.G, where he took the role of a streamer, which came to an end today.
Crownshot is widely recognized as one of the most talented European players in the scene, which is why his absence in the LEC left many surprised. The Slovenian will have a chance at redemption under the banner of French organization Team Vitality.

The team is struggling in the most prestigious LoL competition Europe has to offer, holding the 9th position ex aequo with Astralis product of a 1-6 record. Poor results demanded sudden changes, and Crownshot’s involvement is the first one to come, but possibly not the last one, as the whole roster is stumbling individually on Summoner’s Rift.

Marksman’s first test will be EXCEL ESPORTS this upcoming 12th February. The British organization is doing decent in the LEC and surely will be one of the toughest opponents to face so far during the Spring Split. Vitality will also face SK Gaming the following day.
The French squad also wanted to reassure fans that they still have confidence in Comp’s abilities, which is why he's staying on the roster as a substitute.
