GTA 6 Wins Golden Joystick Award Pre-Release, & A Rockstar Dev Promises It'll Be 'Mind-Blowing'

GTA 6's recently-confirmed fall 2025 release window is still a good way away, but the upcoming, highly-anticipated Rockstar Games title has already won an award at the 2024 Golden Joystick Awards. GTA 6 took home the title of "Most Wanted" this year, as voted by fans.

A Rockstar Games developer accepted the award on behalf of the company, noting that the fans are the "most important thing." He added that there are "an incredible amount of people doing amazing things on Grand Theft Auto 6 - absolutely mind-blowing things."

He also said that Rockstar has "more to come" - so fans should definitely stay tuned.
