The story of Star Wars Battlefront 2 is a strange one. From the huge marketing fiasco at the beginning, when people in beta realised how much of a pay to win is everything in the game, through the loot box controversy which sparked the mainstream interest for this problem, to becoming one of possibly the best Star Wars shooters out there, which is something even the hardcore haters of the game and Electronic Arts will confirm as true. And of course, how can we forget the infamous "a sense of pride and accomplishment" Reddit post, which became the most downvoted post in the history of the platform.
And now that story is coming to an end, as "the vision for Star Wars Battlefront II is complete," says Creative Director Dennis Brännvall.
