Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 releases with a shiny Battle Pass all the way back in early July, and since then, players have been unlocking the cynical mad scientist Rick Sanchez. This means old Rick Sanchez has been on the island without his young partner in crazy antics, Morty, for well over two months. Now, as the final part of the Fortnite Rick & Morty collaboration, the Mecha Morty skin and bundle has finally arrived. Here's how you can get the Fortnite Mecha Morty skin, or the entire bundle if you so choose.
Fortnite Mecha Morty bundle: How to get
Players could simply unlock the Rick Sanchez skin and accompanying cosmetics via the Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass.
The Mecha Morty skin showcase Morty in a Mecha, in case the name wasn't clear enough. Fans of the ultra-popular cartoon might remember this look from the "Lawnmower Dog" episode, designed by Snowball, the family dog...
Unlike the Rick Sanchez skin, players won't be able to unlock Mecha Morty for free in Fortnite. Instead, they will have to throw their V-Bucks back at Epic Games.
That's right, the Mecha Morty skin and bundle is only available in the Fortnite item shop.
You can view the prices below.
- Mecha Morty skin - 1,500 V-Bucks
- Mech Morty bundle - 2,800 V-Bucks
The Mecha Morty bundle includes the following cosmetics:
- Mecha Morty skin
- Look at Me! Wrap
- Space Snake Pickaxe
- Morty’s Backpack Back Bling
Our favourite here is the "Look at Me! Wrap" which makes a new Mr Meeseeks show up on it every time you get an elimination, then stop existing with each new match.
There's also the "Get Schwifty" which you can view in action below.
Overall, the Mecha Morty bundle in Fortnite does look great, and Rick & Morty fans will likely flock to it, throwing their V-Bucks at Epic Games.
Unfortunately, the only way to get the Mecha Morty bundle or skin is to use your V-Bucks, which might disappoint some fans who already unlocked Rick Sanchez via the Battle Pass.
