After a short downtime, Epic Games has finally released the Fortnite v20.30 hotfix for its battle royale mode. Although it’s not a big patch, the developers have unvaulted Air Strike, Hunting Rifle, and Flint-Knock Pistol in the game. Besides this, the funding for Shield Bubbles vs Balloons has begun, and the first item that reaches 100% Funded will make its way to the loot pool.
Fortnite v20.30 hotfix weighs around 1.9 GB for PC players, and one must download it before playing the game. With that being said, let’s dive straight into the detailed changelog of Fortnite 20.30 hotfix.
Fortnte v20.30 (May 10) Hotfix Patch Notes – Air Strike Unvaulted
Air Strike is a legendary explosive utility item in Fortnite that calls in a total of 20 missiles from the sky on the spot where it’s thrown. It deals with a significant amount of damage, and it’s a great item to clear buildings, take down vehicles, and more.
The Air Strikes can be found in Chests, Supply Drops, and on the ground.
Hunting Rifle and Flint Knock Pistol returns
Once again, Fortnite players have got a chance to lay down their hands on the Hunting Rifle and Flint Knock Pistol. Unlike other pistols, players can soar through the air with Flint Knock. Therefore, it’s also regarded as an alternative to shockwave grenades.

Speaking of Hunting Rifle, it spawns in five different variants – Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. Like other Fortnite guns, players can find them in chests, supply drops, and on the ground.
Do note that these weapons are available until May 17, 2022, and during this time, the drop rates for utility items — like the high-flying Shockwave Grenade — are also increased.
Bubbles vs Balloons
Funding has become a traditional way for Epic Games to choose between two essential Fortnite items. This time around, the voting has been conducted between Bubbles and Balloons, and players can cast their vote at various funding stations. The first item that reaches 100% Funded will swiftly enter the loot pool.
Either throw down a Shield Bubble to create a temporary dome invulnerable to explosives and projectiles or attach yourself to become more airborne and agile; it’s totally up to you.
