Fortnite flying Tank glitch goes viral on TikTok - Chapter 3 Season 2

So far there has been no lack of excitement in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 with players enjoying tons of new content. The new split of gameplay has unvaulted classic gameplay features, as well as added new ones to develop the battle royale further with the fight for island supremacy raging on.

Amongst the new additions, Tanks are available to those brave enough to infiltrate the IO-controlled areas, but it seems they too are affected by a pre-existing glitch. Check out this viral TikTok video showing a flying tank glitch in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2.

Flying Tank glitch - Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2

As is the case with so many new updates in Fortnite, the content is not always fully patched out and can cause glitches to occur. One of the more hilarious glitches was the recent flying Loot Shark bug that caused the sharks to soar up out of the water and out of sight.

It seems as though the Loot Shark glitch also affects Tanks, even with players inside the vehicle. Check out the insane TikTok below that has gone viral to the tune of 4.6 million views.

For whatever reason, the Loot Sharks can launch up and out of the water into the sky after being attacked, and they clearly have no problem taking a Tank along for the ride. If you're looking to recreate the hilarious clip in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2, the process is very simple.

How to fly in a Tank - Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2

To start you'll need to find a Tank, you can have a look at our Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 Tanks guide to see all the locations. Then you'll need to drive the Tank in front of a Loot Shark and begin firing at it.

Don't do enough damage to kill the shark, just enough to aggravate it. The Loot Shark will jump at you and launch you both through the air and essentially out of the map. You'll be carried into the storm so you will likely take too much damage and die, but it will certainly be entertaining.
