The latest Fortnite patch (v13.40) appears to be the last big content drop for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3. The update finally introduced cars to the game, and it seems to be the last update before v14.00 hits.
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 end date
The Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 end date should be 27th August 2020. This information has been revealed thanks to dataminer and leaker, Lucas7yoshi.
There seem to be no development servers for a Fortnite v13.50 patch, but there's already one underway for the Fortnite v14.00 and 14.10 updates, which signals the release of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4.

At the time of writing, there is no official release date for Fortnite Season 4, but the end date of 27th August 2020 has been floating around for quite some time, and it looks like Epic Games are on track for the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 end date.
When will Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 start?
As is tradition, we can expect a big event and build up to Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 before the end of August 2020. While an exact start time and date for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 is still unknown, it is likely Epic will release it before 1st September 2020.
Leaker Lucas7yoshi even showed Epic Games already has test servers for Fortnite patch v14.10 running.

There could, however, be some delays and nothing is set in stone.
While you should take information such as this with a grain of salt, there's a good chance Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3's end date will be 27th August, followed by the start of Season 4.
