Final Fantasy VII is Being Remade Again, This Time in LittleBigPlanet 2

You've never seen Cloud and friends quite like this.
Final Fantasy VII is Being Remade Again, This Time in LittleBigPlanet 2

In case one remake wasn't enough for you, one Final Fantasy fan has taken it upon themselves to reimagine the entirety of Final Fantasy VII using the LittleBigPlanet 2 engine. Yes, if when playing through the iconic opening Midgar mission you thought, "This is great, but it needs more Sackboy," then boy, have I got good news for you.

Helmed by creator Jamie Colliver, this remake project spanning over three and a half years takes the PS1 classic and reimagines every element using Media Molecule's sandbox platformer. Take a look at this trailer to see what we're talking about:

Colliver has created a full 141 video playlist so fans can relive the full FFVII story, with Sackboy imaginings of the entire cast of characters, including Cloud, Tifa, Cait Sith, and Vincent Valentine. The project also recreates each classic enemy, NPCs, as well as the musical score.

But it doesn't end there. Colliver has even created a petition to have his project feature as a mini-game in the Final Fantasy VII Remake project's part 3. You can check out the petition details, here
