With the Witches Festival in full gear in The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO), players have been defending the realms of Tamriel from malevolent creatures and getting rewarded for their efforts. As they can best utilize the 100% XP gain boost active during the event, which helps with leveling alternate characters, there are quests to complete to earn Plunder and daily Dremora Plunder Skulls.
These reward containers have proven valuable as they contain Cursed Feathers, which are required to complete a quest. This guide explains how to find and get Cursed Feathers, which are used during the Plucking the Crow quest in ESO.
How To Get And Use The Cursed Feathers In ESO
Cursed Feathers are quest items that players are required to find and collect for the Plucking the Crow Daily quest in ESO. This quest is time-limited as players have until the end of the Witches Festival event to farm as many feathers as possible to complete this repeatable quest.
The Cursed Feathers are required by Witchmother Taerma, for which they’ll later find out how they are used, but for now, 30 Cursed Feathers are needed. But how to acquire them is relatively straightforward as they can be obtained from Plunder and Dremora Plunder Skulls after defeating bosses throughout Tamriel.
These reward containers hold various lootable items, unique for this event, ranging from Furnishings, recipes, style items, and Alchemy reagents. Additionally, the Cursed Feathers can also be found within these containers, but larger quantities of Cursed Feathers are found inside the daily Dremora Plunder Skulls.
This specific reward container only drops after defeating a unique boss for the first time daily, which includes bosses from Arenas, Delves, Final Dungeons, Incursions, Public Dungeons, Trials, and World Bosses. After collecting 30 Cursed Feathers, return to Witchmother Taerma, which she uses these feathers to craft an effigy, the Crowborne Horror Effigy, that summons a portal to the quest boss, the Crowborne Horror, at the Garden of Shadows.
It’s also possible players may acquire Cursed Feathers from defeating Crow-like enemies throughout Tamriell; however, the Plunder and Dremora Plunder Skulls are a more reliable method of obtaining them. Collecting Cursed Feathers is strictly limited to the Witches Festival event, and it can be repeated daily to get more rewards, but collecting them is pretty straightforward and shouldn’t pose much of a challenge for players.
