Elden Ring is an incredibly ambitious open world RPG brimming with content. Whether it's tumbling down on another challenging boss encounter, finding a new powerful weapon type, or simply witnessing a gorgeous view of the gothic landscapes in the distance, there's always something new and exciting to discover in Elden Ring.
While exploration is rewarding in Elden Ring, it's also dangerous. As such, it's better to be equipped with the most powerful weapons to be ready for any and every challenging encounter. For magic-based characters, it's essential to get a powerful staff early on in the game. As such, here's our guide on how to get an S-tier Meteorite Staff early in Elden Ring.
Meteorite Staff in Elden Ring
To get the Meteorite Staff, you must travel to Caelid, one of the main regions in Elden Ring. You can get to Caelid early by opening a chest in the Dragon-Burnt Ruins, South of The First Step grace, which would teleport you to Sellia Crystal Tunnel in the Caelid region.
The Sellia Crystal Tunnel is brimming with high-level enemies, so we recommended sprinting your way out of it and activating the nearest grace. From here on out, you must seek the Street of Sages Ruins, which is South-West of the Sellia Crystal Tunnel.

In the Street of Sages Ruins, look for an area with three poison flowers. It shouldn't be hard to find as there's only one area in the Street of Sages Ruins with three poison flowers. We recommend taking them out with ranged attacks since they can quickly poison you to death if you're near them.
Once they are taken care of, loot the nearby corpse on the wall to get the Meteorite Staff. Now, for it to be most effective, you must level up your Intelligence attribute to 18.
The Meteorite Staff has an S-tier Intelligence Attribute rating, which makes it an immensely powerful staff, and a must-have for magic-based characters.
