How To Get To Malenia In Elden Ring

Difficult bosses in Elden Ring are one thing, but then there is Malenia. Malenia is commonly referred to as the hardest boss to beat in the game, and for good reason. Her attacks are difficult to predict, and it is very hard to hit her. But players all over the world are taking up the challenge to take down Malenia.

But although they will want to fight her, finding her is proving to be just as difficult. Malenia is not easy to find, and many players will go through the entirety of Elden Ring without fighting her a single time. That is because she is an optional boss. Here, we will go over how to find Malenia in Elden Ring.

Where Is Malenia In Elden Ring?

If you want to take on Malenia, you will have to make your way to Miquella's Hailgtree. This is a secret area of the game, and it will take you a long time to get there. First of all, you have to go to the Grand Lift of Rold. You will make it here naturally, as this is the location that will lead you to the Mountaintops of the Giants, a required area of the game.

What you actually need here is the Hailgtree Secret Medallion to continue. The Hailgtree Secret Medallion is actually split into two pieces. The right piece is hidden in the Village of the Albinaurics. You need to hit a pot which is actually the character Albus in disguise. They will then give you the right half of the medallion.

To get to the left half, you need to go to Castle Sol which is located on the Mountaintops of the Giants. Head to the rooftop of the castle after defeating Commander Niall. Once you have both halves of the medallion, head back to the Grand Lift of Rold and hold up the secret medallion instead of the normal one. Once you do that, you are on your way to Malenia.

Reaching The Hailgtree In Elden Ring

Once you have gone up the lift after holding up the secret medallion, you will still have a long path to getting to Malenia. The lift will land you at the Consecrated Snowfield, the final area before you reach the Hailgtree. Once you are at the snowfield, you need to make your way to Ordina Liturgical Town.

Here, you will need to solve the puzzle of the town. The puzzle is that you will have to light four candles hidden throughout the town. Once you do that, a path will open, and you will see a portal. That portal will send you to Miquella's Haligtree. Once you are at the Haligtree, all you need to do is go down, and you will eventually find Malenia waiting for you.
