Outside of the gigantic open-world that Elden Ring presents to players, there is a small hub area where most of the main story comes together, the Roundtable Hold.
Here, you will find numerous NPCs that can help you on your journey and even offer some items in return for helping them. In addition, there are also merchants and places to trade invaluable rewards that you acquired during the story.
However, getting to the Roundtable Hold has proven challenging for some players starting in Elden Ring. Either they can't find exactly how to get there, or they can't figure out where they need to go to trigger the cut scene that brings them.
So, if you're looking to make it to the Roundtable Hold for the first time in Elden Ring, check out the guide below.
How to get invited to the Roundtable Hold in Elden Ring
To get to the Roundtable Hold, you first need to meet Melina for the first time. Melina is a Finger Maiden in Elden Ring and offers to be your maiden as you venture to become the Elden Lord.
You can first set sight on Melina upon making it to the Site of Grace, located outside of the Stormgate bridge and the Gatefront Ruins.
Once you've met Melina, you will receive a mount, Torrent the horse, and will be able to turn your Runes into levels via the attribute system. However, you still won't be able to go to the Roundtable Hold for some time.
At this time, it's unclear exactly what triggers the invitation to the Roundtable Hold in Elden Ring. However, what is certain is that you will need to do some exploring before Melina will speak to you again and offer to take you there.
To speed up this process, head through Stormgate and into Stormhill. You can also head south and east from Limgrave and discover all of the Sites of Grace those regions have to offer. Make sure to rest at any that you find, as this will help trigger Melina's second appearance.
If you've made it through Stormhill and rested at different Sites of Grace, Melina will eventually appear and offer to take you to the Roundtable Hold. Just accept her offer, and you'll be whisked away to the main hub of Elden Ring. Here, you can talk to NPCs, upgrade weapons and discover new story elements.
