Elden Ring has dozens of fantastic armour sets, which can bolster your stats and grant you buffs depending on your preferred character class or build. While some armour sets may have uniques designs, one such set comes with a noticeable gut.
The Lionel's Set is one of the game's heaviest and most robust that can be found in-game. This guide will detail everything you need to know about Lionel's Set, including its location in Elden Ring.
Where to find the Lionel Set in Elden Ring?
Lionel's Set is considered the heaviest set in Elden Ring as it comprises four distinctive pieces, Lionel's Helm, Armor, Gauntlets and Greaves. These items can be looted off Lionel the Lionhearted, a brave knight who became the adoptive father of Fia before his untimely passing.
You'll need to defeat the Draconic Tree Sentinel at the Capital Outskirts, guarding the Leyndell Royal Capital's eastern entrance; you must defeat this boss should you wish to progress with Fia's questline. Additionally, you will be able to access much of Leyndell once this boss has been defeated.
His body can be located at Leyndell, Royal Capital, so we advise seeking out this armour set until the game's later stages. Locate the Avenue Balcony Site of Grace and head south-east up the stairs, turn left and onto the main road of Leyndell.
Make another left turn into a courtyard and then into a building left of the fountain and take the lift down. Make your way past the zombies at a nearby graveyard before turning left through a room leading out to the sewers.

Find a ladder to the left of the sewers going upwards where there will be a small chapel ahead. Head inside the chapel to find Lionel's body on the left side and the Lower Capital Church Site of Grace not far from the body.
Fia's questline in Elden Ring
After acquiring Lionel's Armor Set inside the chapel near the Lower Capital Church Site of Grace, you can progress with Fia's questline to obtain one of the game's endings. At this junction in the game, you will need to find Fia at Deeproot Depths, the underground area below Leyndell, Royal Capital, where she tasks you to retrieve the Cursemark of Death.
Doing so and reporting back to Fia will trigger a boss battle with the Lichdragon Fortissax at her deathbed. Defeating the boss will drop the Mending Rune of the Death-Prince, an item essential to mend the Elden Ring with and receive one of the game's endings, the Age of Duskborn.
You can continue to progress by completing the remaining quest at Leyndell, which concludes with defeating the Elden Beast. Then, mend the Elden Ring and rise, Tarnished One, to become the Elden Lord.
