Praise the sun! On 25th February 2022, we will finally get to play Elden Ring, the latest ARPG created by FromSoftware. Soulsborne fans and even those new to the subgenre are eager to jump into the Lands Between as a Tarnished and die over and over again. If you plan to play Elden Ring as quickly as possible, you might want to know what the exact release time is.
Remember, Elden Ring has a Day One update which we've outlined via a patch notes article. To play as soon as possible, you will need to pre-load the game on your platform of choice. Now, thanks to an update from the developers, we know the exact release time for Elden Ring on all platforms.
Elden Ring release times on PC, PlayStation & Xbox
The official Elden Ring worldwide release times schedule (as per a Tweet) showcases exactly when the long-awaited ARPG will release in each region across the globe.
For console gamers on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles, Elden Ring's release time is simply midnight on 25th February 2022.
For those on PC, however, the Elden Ring release times vary by region. For example, in GMT time, Elden Ring releases on 24th February at 23:00 GMT, which means PC gamers can play it an hour earlier.
As you can see from the official image above, PC gamers get a bit of a headstart in some regions.
This answers the question of when Elden Ring will release on all platforms. While you not-so-patiently wait, maybe watch the game's overview trailer once again, it's worth it.
For those who are unaware, George R.R. Martin (Game of Thrones author) worked in collaboration with Elden Ring developers to create the lore and storyline, which really does take the hype for the game to the next level.
So there you have it, the worldwide release schedule for Elden Ring. It appears that PC gamers in some regions will be playing the game a few hours earlier than console gamers. Maybe, just maybe, it's a nice little gift to make up for the high minimum system requirements.
