Dying Light 2: Stay Human is the latest horror survival game title from developer Techland, boasting unique parkour-style gameplay, rich content and storyline, and perhaps near-criminal nightmarish cut-scenes.
Players must keep their wits as they take on hordes of infected zombies without contemporary guns and weaponry in a civilisation torn apart from a viral outbreak, now lost in the Dark Ages.
Indeed, this adds massively to the whole "zombie survival" experience and compels players to find creative ways to defend themselves against the infected.
While there is no shortage of things players can use as weapons in the game, sometimes more uh, explosive methods are warranted. So, without further ado, this guide will explain how to craft DIY Grenades in Dying Light 2!
How to craft DIY Grenades in Dying Light 2?
DIY Grenades are rare throwable accessories that can be unlocked and then crafted by purchasing the blueprint from the Craftmaster. The in-game description reads: "A powerful explosive, effective against any threat."
Besides the DIY Grenade blueprint, you will need to collect the various craft parts indicated below.
- 10x Scraps
- 1x Alcohol
- 1x Battery
You can find Scraps pretty much anywhere in the game; however, the other items are found in specific locations. For example, you can locate alcohol in Forsaken Stores and Dark Zones. You can also find Batteries in Forsaken Stores in rare loot containers and Evacuation Convoys.
Once the craft items are collected and the blueprint has been purchased, open the Character Menu and navigate to "Crafting". Next, select the DIY Grenades blueprint, and select "Craft."
How to upgrade DIY Grenades in Dying Light 2?
DIY Grenades will do 76 damage and have a 6-metre explosion radius. You can upgrade DIY Grenade blueprints to deal up to 115 damage in a larger area of effect; however, you will also need to have the following:
- 10x Infected Trophies (Uncommon)
- 1x Infected Trophies (Rare)
- 520 Old World Money
And that's it! You can use DIY Grenades to deal area of effect damage to hordes of the infected.
