Where To Find & Rescue Rodge In Dragon's Dogma 2

Dragon's Dogma 2 features plenty of sidequests, some of which offer multiple outcomes depending on how you approach them. The "Prey for the Pack" quest can be picked up in the Checkpoint Rest Town, where a merchant will mention that a young boy, Rodge, has gone missing, supposedly taken by wolves. 

The Arisen can pledge their support to help locate Rodge, but they won't be given much to go on. You'll need to begin by asking around the town, but not all the inhabitants will be helpful.

Prey For The Pack Quest Walkthrough: Where Is Rodge In Dragon's Dogma 2?

Morris will suggest that you ask around the town and see if anyone knows or saw anything. Not all NPCs will have something to say, but the few that do offer very little information. 

Your party will question Jacint, Alsa and Timothy, who all mention that Rodge liked picking flowers, and would often make his way to the nearby flower field. You might get a quest marker that will lead you to the flowerbed just outside of town, but there will be nothing to find. There is one NPC who will give you the right information, however.

A guard towards the entrance of the Checkpoint Rest Town, on the bridge, knows of a cave. Speaking to Rikhard, he'll mention that wolves have been known to make their home in Putrid Cave on the eastern road. He saw the cave on one of his patrols but wasn't permitted to enter. It's here you'll need to go to find Rodge. 

Follow the quest marker to Putrid Cave, which is father than you might think outside of the Checkpoint Rest Town. The cave will be home to a pack of wolves that you'll need to defeat in order to find Rodge.

Can Rodge Be Saved In Dragon's Dogma 2?

Now, thanks to Dragon's Dogma 2 only having a single save. We can't confirm whether or not there are multiple outcomes to this quest. When we made it to the cave, all that was left of Rodge was scraps of fabric as he had perished to the wolves. Had we gotten there earlier, perhaps Rodge could have been saved.
