To welcome Dragon's Dogma fans, new and old, to the long-awaited sequel, Capcom are revealing a 7-minute long trailer as an introduction the RPG's immersive fantasy world. Leading us through the details is renowned actor Ian McShane, best known across a multitude of projects including John Wick and American Gods.
The in-depth video will be livestreamed via Capcom's official Dragon's Dogma YouTube channel at 4pm PT/11pm GMT, on March 14, 2024. While Capcom haven't revealed exactly what players can expect from this brand new trailer, it will likely offer a more extended look at the world than we've seen thus far.
Ahead of Dragon's Dogma 2's release on March 22, 2024, fans can get a head start on the fun by checking out the character creation tool to create an Arisen and main Pawn. The tool is available for free across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. Players will be able to store their characters for use in the main game when it launches.
Dragon's Dogma 2 was announced in June 2022, and serves as a sequel to 2012's Dragon's Dogma. Players take on the role of the "Arisen", one who is marked by a dragon that they must defeat. On their quest to do so, the Arisen will explore the surrounding world, taking on quests, defeating monsters, all with the help of "Pawns."
Dragon's Dogma 2 launches on March 22, 2024 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
