Dead by Daylight's Blood Moon event boasts a lot of content: a new event tome, cosmetics, and a new event offering. While players are able to earn all of the game's new cosmetics and spend Thrombotic Trinkets, the game's event offering, the Bloodshot Eye, has been disabled due to an issue. When played, the Bloodshot Eye offering caused all Bloodpoint offerings in play to be ignored and discarded.
A week after the Bloodshot Eye was disabled, players pointed out that the offering is still not in play. In response, Dead by Daylight confirmed on X/Twitter earlier today that the offering will not be re-enabled.
In spite of this, some players pointed out that the Bloodshot Eye offering was still available in the game's Bloodwebs, causing players to needlessly spend Bloodpoints on items that couldn't be used. Dead by Daylight responded that, as of 3 PM EST on 25 March, the offering is no longer available in the Bloodweb. However, many players had already spent significant amounts of Bloodpoints on ultimately useless offerings.
Dead by Daylight is sending all players 1 million Bloodpoints who log in throughout the event in response to the issue. However, many users still felt that it wasn't enough given the length of the event. For now, the Blood Moon event is still available for a few more days: with no more Bloodshot Eye offering.
