According to a pair of Polish podcasters, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, the long-awaited expansion to CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077, will release between June 8 and early July.
In the podcast, Rock and Borys, a source of several leaks for CD Projekt Red titles, point to an internal release date being set for June and several people confirming to Borys that the expansion will come out a month after the release date is announced as evidence to support this theory.
We already know from the studio that Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will appear at Summer Game Fest, and that the expansion will be playable for journalists attending Summer Game Fest Play Days, making this leak much more believable than it otherwise would have been. It's likely that we find out a release date for the expansion on June 8 at Summer Game Fest, with gameplay shown off during the show itself for the title.
