The Jungle biome in Conan Exiles: Age of Sorcery is often referred to as a swamp because of its thick, humid conditions, dense forest grounds, and dangerous animal and human threats. However, this biome also presents an excellent opportunity to build expansive treehouses, a feature introduced in the Debaucheries of Derketo DLC.
Building a treehouse base in the Jungle biome may seem daunting, but it can be a rewarding and unique experience in the right location. To help you find the best Jungle base locations in Conan Exiles, we have compiled a list of top spots to build your next home base in the game. So, without further ado, let's explore the best places to build a base in the Jungle biome.
All Jungle Base Locations In Conan Exiles
The Jungle may be home to dangerous enemies and toxic locations, making accessing resources tricky. Therefore, gaining access to vital resources is plentiful, especially finding Wood, making farming runs increasingly worthwhile.
With various dungeons and ruins in surrounding areas, you'll be able to find powerful weapons and armor to increase your survivability. With that in mind, we have seen some ideal locations on The Exiled Lands to start building your home base in Conan Exiles: Age of Sorcery:
Upper Staging Area (K8)
This location is found surrounding the Upper Staging Area location is quite an isolated area as it's atop a mountain that overlooks the surrounding area. What makes this location attractive is its transportation routes making accessing this location relatively seamless.
Additionally, there are ample farming spots for Wood, Iron, and Crystals, and an Obelisk down below; building a Map Room would be worth considering to fast travel anywhere in Conan Exiles. The Passage's exit is also found nearby, so a quick trip to the Snow biome is at arm's length.
As mentioned, there are a few Iron deposits, but more is needed than the Descent of Dagon offers. Other than that, this location could be better for what it offers, but due to its transportation systems in place, this can be worth considering long term.
Descent of Dagon (L6)
Another fortress-type location can be found towards the cliff's edge west of the Descent of Dagon ruins. This space has an abundance of vast clearings and proximity to various resources like Iron and Silver deposits in Conan Exiles.
Likewise, you'll have access to various Tier I-III Thralls at the ruins; if you want to upgrade your sorceries, a sorcerer is found there. The only downside is the variety of resources compared to other locations; however, it's a stone's throw away from Floatsam and Buccaneer's Bay, which offers more resources.
Flotsam (N7)
This location is above the Flotsam Black Hand NPC Camp and is home to plenty of Tiered Thralls in Conan Exiles, which makes this location appealing. Its proximity to Buccaneer Bay grants you access to vast resources like Brimstone and Iron, but you will be in the crosshairs of various enemies.
Nevertheless, the vast open spaces and having a great vantage point above the NPC camp mean you'll have the advantage of having the upper hand over your enemies. Likewise, with the various Fighter and Archer Thralls that can be acquired nearby, you should have no issue defending your base from enemies having these Thralls on your base.
