One such creature is the Elephant Calf in Conan Exiles, which may seem dangerous initially but can become protective and devoted once raised.

How To Get Elephant Calf In Conan Exiles

An Elephant Calf is the baby animal of the Elephant and Mammoth, assuming it's tamed under the right conditions. While it’s not as dangerous as its adult versions, taking great care of the baby animal can turn it into a loyal and ferocious companion in Conan Exiles.

However, should it inevitably turn against you, it can provide various food items which can be cooked, granting temporary health boosts. As for where to find an Elephant Calf in Conan Exiles, you’ll need to locate the Elephant herds at the Savanna biome on The Exiled Lands and the Isle of Siptah.

On The Exiled Lands, locate Swagger Rock (G7), described as a “pride rock complete with a watering hole,” You’ll likely find an Elephant Calf amongst the herd. Likewise, on the Isle of Siptah, there are herds of elephants roaming the areas surrounding the Elephant Graveyard vista (G/H/I11) and nearby The Proving Grounds ruins (I5).

At these locations, you will have the chance to find a few Elephant Calves in Conan Exiles, whereby interacting with them will add to your Inventory. Once you’ve returned to your home base, you can place the Elephant Calf inside an Animal Pen or upgraded versions of this structure; feeding it different meals can give you a chance to get an Elephant, Greater Elephant, or Mammoth.

Some foods include Plant Fiber, Vines, and various Shadespiced food items for which you can get experience raising the Elephant Calf in Conan Exiles. However, we suggest feeding the baby animal the Shadespiced Plant Fiber gives you the most experience as it takes around four hours to get either the Elephant, Greater Elephant, or Mammoth.

Making this type of animal food requires learning the Apprentice Tamer Knowledge and using the recipe; you’ll need to farm 100 Plant Fibers and one Shadebloom Flower. This gives you one Shadespiced Plant Fiber which can be given to the Elephant Calf, making it grow stronger and larger.
