Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is the fast-selling Call of Duty game of all time, and to celebrate the release of the new Season 2 Reloaded, Activision has announced MW2 will be available for free from March 16 at 10 AM PT and ends on March 20 at 10 AM PT. This will be the second time the developers have made the game free to play for a limited time.

During the free weekend, players can join the multiplayer sessions in different game modes, including Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, and more. Content Available During The Free Access and Rewards

During the free access of Modern Warfare 2, players will be able to play across six multiplayer maps, including the new Himmelmatt Expo, along with a variety of different game modes. Here are the details of the free content available for the five-day free access:

• Core (6v6) Maps: Farm 18, Mercado Las Almas, Shipment, Dome, Himmelmatt Expo
• Core Modes: Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, Domination, Kill Confirmed, Gun Game, Infected, One in the Chamber, All or Nothing
• Battle Maps: Santa Seña
• Battle Map Modes: Ground War, Invasion
• Special Ops: Atomgrad — Special Ops Raid Episode 01 (Standard difficulty only)

Players will also have a chance to get free rewards if they successfully manage to complete the Special Ops Raid Episode 01. Completing the challenge will reward players with a new Operator Skin for Gaz and a Mystery Case holding one of several rewards from the Raid loot table.

The free weekend will also help you rank up your weapons and unlock new attachments or a weapon class, which can be difficult while playing Warzone 2.0. You can also unlock the new Tempus Torrent marksman rifle and the Winds of Ash weapon camo by completing the challenge in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 during the free five-day access.
