Modern Warfare 2 Surpasses Elden Ring In Sales

According to official statistics, Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 has surpassed Elden Ring to become the best-selling game for 2022.

"Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II repeated as the month's best-selling title in dollar sales while also becoming the best-seller for 2022 year to date. Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II was followed on the chart by three November new releases: God of War: Ragnarok, Pokemon Scarlet/Violet and Sonic Frontiers"

This is even more impressive when you consider that Elden Ring was released back in February and Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 was released at the end of October. Elden Ring is by far the most appealing game in the Souls genre to fans that want to get into it, but the power of the Call Of Duty IP isn't to be underestimated by fans that want to play the newest multiplayer experience with their friends. 

It'll be extremely interesting to see the final year-long stats at the end of the year and to see where Elden Ring lands on that list.
