The Assassin's Creed series is one that has its ups and downs. Throughout the years, the game has undergone a large number of changes in how the gameplay works. Some of the fans liked it, and others did not. During the Ubisoft Forward 2022, it was revealed that Assassin's Creed Mirage is the next game in the series, and the game will go back to its original roots.
For that reason, many Assassin's Creed fans are anticipating the release of this game. Some fans have left the series because they miss the older way of playing the game. But now AC fans might have to wait a bit longer. It seems like there is going to be a delay in the release of Assassin's Creed Mirage.
Assassin's Creed Mirage Delayed?
There are many people out there that are looking into files and data for various video games around the world. Players cannot wait for the latest information and because of that, they will go digging as fast as possible to get updates. One such data leaker has given us some information about the upcoming Assassin's Creed game.
Twitter user ScriptLeaksR6 is a data miner and he found some information. He claims that according to what he has seen, Assassin's Creed Mirage is very very likely to be delayed. He also claims that Assassin's Creed Mirage will run on its old engine.
When Will Assassin's Creed Mirage Be Released?
More than likely, Assassin's Creed Mirage will release in 2024. In the past, a good majority of Assassin's Creed games will launch in the final quarter of the year. Assassin's Creed Mirage is supposed to get a gameplay reveal during E3 this year. E3 2023 will start on June 13, later this year.
This lines up pretty well with the usual release schedule for Assassin's Creed Mirage. If that is all true, more than likely, Assassin's Creed Mirage was supposed to release in late 2023. Any delay would push it into 2024. Whether or not this is true has yet to be seen.
