Legendary Gae Bolg Spear, how to get in AC Valhalla: Wrath of the Druids

The Legendary Gae Bolg Spear is one of the most powerful new weapon in AC Valhalla: Wrath of the Druids and it isn't particularly easy to get as you will need to complete most of the main quest and assassinations.

The Mythical Spear boats an incredible 107 Attack Damage, and 122 Stun, as a bonus it also hits enemies with a lightning shock after you land three consecutive hits.

It is without a doubt a very powerful weapon, but also one of the toughest to get in the game.

In order to obtain it, you will need to kill a lot of folks and then fight a boss fight at the end in order to finally obtain this powerful spear.

But don't worry, this guide will help you to understand what you need to do in order to get the weapon.

How to get Legendary Gae Bolg Spear in Wrath of the Druids

You won't be able to get this weapon before a mission of the main story named "Into the Fog", a mission related to the Children of Danu, a mysterious and occult druid cult.

Your quest is to find and kill The Cursed, the first of many members of the Children of Danu that you will need to kill. You will find him in Carnagan, and once you are done with him, you will need to find and eliminate all the remaining members of the cult.

Two of them are a part of the mission, while others are optional, but you will need to kill them all in order to obtain the Gae Bolg Spear.

You can either complete the story first by killing the leader or first you can find other optional members and kill them before completing the story.

For the two story-related members you will easily find their location, but here are the locations of the other seven members that you will need to kill.

The Children of Danu members locations

The Spider

The first one can be found in the Dublin market, she is Aideen, merchant of Dublin.

The Blaze

The second one is named Conlae, he of the flames. You can find him wandering around the area between Clogher and Black Pig's Dyke, near some ruined houses.

Moving forward, in Kesh Gorann, the Connacht region, you will find Cummascach lurking through the mine.

The Whisper

The member known as The Whisper is located in the bogs area in Meath, east of Inchroe.

Her name is Leasleach, madwoman of the bogs.

The Wren

The Wren, also known as Niamh, the Poet, is located in the town of Rathcroghan. She is an old lady that's walking around the town market.

The Deer

Ruaidri, he of the ports, can be found in the east part of the Ulster region.

He is in the area called Inch Lough Neagh, which is at the biggest lake in the region. He will be there in a camp with a group of enemies, so make sure that you are ready for a fight.

The Mist

Trian, he of the stone circles, is located in the northwest part of Ulster, on a small island called Doon Fort.

And that's it, now you've eliminated all the members of The Children of Danu! Now that they are all dead (including the three from the main story), the new side mission named Amber Sun will start automatically.

Speak to Deirdre and she will send you to fight the mystical creature Balor, level 370. It can be quite a hard battle, so make sure that you are at a high level and properly prepared for the fight.

Defeat him, you will earn the legendary Gae Bolg Spear! Congratulations!
