Apex Legends Thrillseekers Event: Dates, skins, rewards, Overflow map, more

The Genesis collection event is still going, but Respawn is already sharing plans for the next Apex Legends event, Thrillseekers.

The Thrillseekers event will see a brand new map added to the Arenas mode, Overflow, which will give players a new way to think about this mode, as it is different in structure from other maps.

Asides from the new map, the new event will give players plenty of rewards as well and will add several new skins and other cosmetic items to the shop.

Thrillseekers start and end dates

The Thrillseekers event is set to start right after Genesis ends, on 13th July 2021, and it will run for three weeks, until 3rd August 2021.

New arenas map Overflow

The Arenas mode will get another new map - Overflow.

Unlike previous maps for this mode, Overflow has a MOBA-like structure with a focus on lanes. On Overflow, players won't be able to have clear information on what their opponents are doing in other parts of the map, which are separated with tall structures filled with lava.

The map introduces several points of interest, like Overlook and Slope, which will give players opportunities for different approaches depending if they like an open confrontation or more sneakier, flanking tactics.

Thrillseekers rewards tracks

The Thrillseekers event comes stacked with rewards for players to earn.

Each of the three weeks of the event will have its own rewards track with a set of rewards you can earn simply by playing the game.

• Week 1 rewards: Rampart Wastelander Set, which includes a matching gun charm, weapon skin, and a Legendary Rampart skin, alongside Battle Pass boosters, crafting metals, and Apex packs
• Week 2 rewards: Battle Pass boosters, crafting metals, and Apex packs. 
• Week 3 rewards: the Lethal Enforcer Bangalore Skin, Battle Pass boosters, crafting metals, and Apex packs.

Additionally, if you play Arenas, you will be able to earn unique Badges each week. Each badge is tied to a specific week.

• Week 1 Badge: Play 20 Arena games
• Week 2 Badge: Get 100 Knockdowns in Arenas
• Week 3 Badge: Deal 12,000 damage in Arenas

All new skins and cosmetics

Apex Legends events wouldn't be complete without new cosmetics, and the Thrillseekers event is bringing plenty of them, including skins like Chuckles the Barrelman, Ring Leader, Seeing Red, Down Right Fierce, and many more.

Asides from new cosmetics, the start of Thrillseekers marks the beginning of the Summer Splash Sale, which will bring back some of the fan-favourites skins for a limited time, such as Youngblood and Voidwalker.
