Respawn Entertainment is celebrating their 10th anniversary with a brand new studio based in Vancouver, Canada.
Another part of this celebration might be that Apex Legends is coming to Steam sooner than you think.
This second Respawn studio will be completely focused on Apex Legends, and since there's already EA Vancouver campus there, it will be easy for the new team to do a smooth transition when things get back to normal after the COVID-19 crisis ends.
This probably means that the studio in California will now be solely focused on a rumoured Jedi: Fallen Order sequel, given that Titanfall 3 is far from reality right now.

With a new studio in Vancouver which will be completely focused on Apex Legends, Respawn plans to build a franchise that will be there for another 10 years.
In a lengthy interview for gamesindustry.biz, head of operations Henry Lee and team director Steven Ferreira tried to explain their version and strategy both for the new studio and Apex Legends.
They are still not ready to speak a lot, but we think that one of the first things that will happen is the arrival of Apex Legends to Steam.

EA and Valve partnership has been renewed last year, and since then many Electronic Arts games are coming to Steam, and there are speculations that Apex Legends might be one of them this year.
With the latest data mined files, these speculations are practically confirmed and now the only mystery remains when will that happen.
A few days ago, someone data mined Portal Potato charm, which you can see below.

If you've played Portal games, you will immediately recognize this, but for other players, we will not spoil things.
The important part is that Portal is an iconic puzzle game created by Valve, Steam owners, and this might be some small nod to celebrate the game's arrival to Steam.
It will probably be some kind of a login reward for players who enter the game through Steam when it launches there, or something similar to that.
What is not speculation is that model you see is 100% from Portal. We can't see another reason for it being there, other than in correlation with the Apex Legends' Steam release.
Now we just have to wait to find out when will that happen.
So this got added in the files, name: "v_charm_valve_potato"
