Apex Legends Season 9 is well underway, and Respawn and EA are slowly starting to prepare things for the next chapter of the popular battle royale game.
To kick things off this summer, Respawn is releasing the Apex Legends Genesis collection event, where players will be able to "play OG Battle Royale maps, become the king of Skull Town in Arenas, and unlock new looks and rewards."
The update will bring the Legacy Maps Apex Takeover mode, where the original versions of Kings Canyon (Season 0) and World’s Edge (Season 3) are coming back for a limited time.
The Genesis collection event will bring a new Arena map as well - Skull Town.
And then, of course, as with any collection event, Genesis comes with a slew of new cosmetic items and rewards for players to unlock, grind for, and buy.

Asides from new items and gameplay features, the update will also introduce small balance changes to both weapons and Legends.
When it comes to weapon balancing updates, it is interesting to note that this update features only buffs!
The P2020 sees by far the biggest set of buffs with increased stats across the board.
Check out below all the weapon balance changes coming to the Apex Legends Genesis Collection Event.
Apex Legends Genesis Collection Event is set to start on 29th June and it will last until 13th July 2021.
