Veteran Apex Legends players know that a season is not complete without a seasonal Collection Event.
Fans have been eager to find out what the Season 9 collection event will be and now Respawn has finally revealed the details of the two-week event that set to come this summer.
The Apex Legends Genesis Collection event has been announced and it is slated to start on 29th June.
As usual, the huge update will be released with a slew of new content, including a limited-time mode, balance changes, a new Arena map, brand new skins and other items.

The event will introduce the Legacy Maps Apex Takeover mode which will bring us back straight to the roots, with the original versions of Kings Canyon (Season 0) and World’s Edge (Season 3).
You will be able to experience Apex Legends' iconic maps as they were when first released, including all of the original locations and other reverted changes.
The update will also bring the first new map for the Arenas mode, as Respawn heard what players want and will introduce Skull Town to Arenas as a new map.
Genesis Collection event Reward track
It wouldn't be a Collection Event without a slew of new items and rewards for players to collect and buy.
"The Genesis Collection Event brings a rewards track with all-new earnable cosmetics, this time including legendary Charge Rifle and EVA-8 weapon skins among the goodies," says Respawn.
Below you can see the reward track and all the rewards that await you there.

Additionally, the event brings stretch challenges that will have you rewarded with four unique badges, provided you complete them during the event.
Genesis Collection event new items
Of course, the most important part of the event is 24 completely new items available through either direct purchase (for Apex Coins or Crafting Metals) or in Genesis Event Apex Packs.
Respawn hasn't yet revealed all the items available, but if you collect all 24 event items, you'll unlock the Revenant Heirloom set.
