With more news about WWE 2K25 rapidly approaching, the first key reveal has dropped. The primary WWE 2K25 cover athlete isn't official just yet and is likely to be announced during WWE Raw on Netflix tonight, but the Deluxe Edition has been unveiled. The Phenom takes center stage with The Undertaker on the WWE 2K25 Deadman Edition.

While additional news like the standard edition WWE 2K25 cover star and other details are expected follow during WWE Raw on Netflix tonight and tomorrow on January 28, WWE Games has already dropped the first major reveal. As confirmed on Twitter, The Undertaker will take the spotlight for the Deluxe Edition of WWE 2K25.

All the tweet confirmed was the cover itself and that it will be dubbed the WWE 2K25 Deadman Edition. The more formal reveal expected on January 28 is likely to coincide with pre orders going live on different platforms, and that will also mean fans will learn specifics of what the WWE 2K25 Deadman Edition comes with and whether a physical collector's edition will be available.

While game mode details and much of anything else weren't included in this reveal, The Undertaker on the deluxe edition likely means that the WWE 2K Showcase will center on his lengthy career. Past 2K Showcases of recent years featured cover stars John Cena and Rey Mysterio, and WWE 2K24 used a slightly different approach with the Forty Years of WrestleMania Edition and a 2K Showcase recounting major WrestleMania moments.

Considering his 21-0 streak and several matches after it was ended, there's no shortage of potential Undertaker matches that could make it into the WWE 2K25 Showcase Mode. One big question will be Brock Lesnar, who was initially removed from last year's game when he was implicated by a sex trafficking lawsuit against WWE. He hasn't been seen in WWE since that news broke, but how they handle Lesnar in the WWE 2K Showcase could signal whether WWE is done distancing themselves from him.
