The classic version of World of Warcraft is going through some major changes during the year 2023. The game has entered the Season of Discovery, which is essentially bringing new content to the Classic servers. This includes new Runes, which allow players to play their favorite classes in new ways.
New Runes and new items will launch during Phase 2 of the Season of Discovery as well, so there is plenty to get excited about. Before that, some players are trying to complete as much content as possible which includes getting essential items. Here, we are going to go over how to get the Dragonslayer Helm in WoW SoD.
How To Get Dragonslayer Helm In WoW SoD
Getting the Dragonslayer Helm in WoW SoD will require a bit of legwork from players, but it is well worth the trouble. First, players will have to make their way to the Shadowfang Keep dungeon. Make sure that the group is also looking for this item, or the group might try to complete the dungeon quickly. From there, players need to find Commander Springvale.
Once found, defeat Commander Springvale. Behind where Commander Springvale spawns, players can actually go up and collect the Dragonslayer Helm. So it just takes taking down this singular boss to get the coveted Dragonslayer Helm in WoW SoD. Just make sure the group knows what the goal is as well.
What Does The Dragonslayer Helm Do In WoW SoD
The Dragonslayer Helm in itself does not really do anything and it is only one piece of the puzzle players are looking for. Players will need to collect a total of three items, including the Dragonslayer Helm, to get the Rune of Raging Blow. This is a Rune that is specifically made for the Warrior class in WoW SoD.
The Rune of Raging Blow is attached to a piece of chest armor in WoW SoD. Once used, the player will deal a strike that will do 100% weapon damage but can only be used while the player is using Enrage, Berserker Rage, or Bloodrage. This is a very valuable Rune for Warriors who are focused on damage output.
