The latest Nintendo Direct live stream has concluded, and Xenoblade fans will be glad to know that it was particularly hosted for the upcoming Xenoblade Chronicles 3. During the live broadcast, Nintendo shared a lot of information on this forthcoming RPG, with the expansion pass being one of them.

This time around, the Expansion Pass for the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will be similar to the one shipped with its predecessor, which will offer new missions, sidequests, outfits, and more. How much will Xenoblade Chronicles 3 expansion pass cost?

The expansion pass for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will cost £26.99 / €29.99 / $29.99 and will be available to pre-order later today on the eShop.

It’s worth noting that you must own Xenoblade Chronicles 3 (European Version) on Nintendo Switch to access downloadable content. Content packs cannot be purchased separately and will only be playable after their release date. The amount of free space required for each content pack will be announced on the official website at a later date.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 – DLC and Rewards

In the official Nintendo Direct broadcast, the company has confirmed the additional content that will be released in four waves from the game’s launch through the end of 2023. The upcoming DLC(s) will include helpful items, new outfits and color variants, challenge battles, new quests, new Hero characters, and even a new story scenario.

Here are the release dates of each wave, along with their rewards:

• First wave: Arriving on July 29 and will include helpful items and outfit color variants.
• Second Wave: Will be released by December 31 and feature challenge Battle, a new hero character and quests, and new outfits.
• Third Wave: Will launch by April 30, 2023, and include another round of challenge battle, a new hero character and quests, and new outfits.
• Fourth Wave: Arriving by December 31, 2023, will introduce a brand-new story scenario.
