XDefiant Season 2 Unveiled With New Faction, Maps, Weapons, & More

XDefiant Season 2 is coming closer to its release on September 25 and Ubisoft has given us a deep dive into the new content that we can look forward to. Apart from this, they have also shared their plans of fixing Netcode/Hitreg issues and improving the game servers.

The main highlight of the Season 2 update is the brand new faction called Highwaymen faction featuring M79 Grenade, Scrap Turret, and SAW Launcher abilities.

In addition to this, three new weapons and maps will also be a part of the update. One of the new maps is called Waterfront that will be available with the launch, while Signal and Air & Space will be released with mid-season update.

On the other hand, the new weapons including PP19 SMG, L86 LSW, and SPAS-12 will be available for free in Battlepass.

Players will also be able to enjoy the Bomb! Mode and as per the official Season 2 reveal livestream, two teams with six players each will be up against each other. The goal of attackers will be to plant the bomb on a site and the defenders will have to defuse it or stop the attackers from planting at all. 

Brand new character skins including Twitchy Paulo Legendary Skin, Nautilus Malee Epic Skin, Nautilus De Rosa Epic Skin, Sugar Rush Gia Epic Skin, Sugar Rush Li'l T Epic Skin, Varsity Sebastien Rare Skin, and Nautilus Singa Epic Skin will also be available for players to grab. 

On the other hand, the new weapon skins coming up are Nautilus AK47 Skin, Stone Aged M16 Legendary Skin, Varsity ACR Epic Skin, Sugar Rush TAC-50 Epic Skin, and Sugar Rush SPAS-12 Epic Skin.
