In an unexpected start to 2021, Bethesda has released a teaser confirming MachineGames is working on an Indiana Jones game.
Released on Twitter, the short teaser shows books and a typewriter marked with Bethesda, LucasFilm, and MachineGames, before Indiana Jones’ iconic hat is pulled away.
The small print confirms it’s an Indiana Jones title from the studio, who are most known for developing Wolfenstein: The New Order and 2017 sequel Wolfenstein: The New Colossus.
This is the first new Indiana Jones game since 2009’s Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings on Nintendo DS, while more people might be more familiar with Lego Indiana Jones released in 2008.
Little is known about the title outside this teaser, but it feels like a surprising choice for a developer known for an aggressive, bloody shooter like Wolfenstein.
